Boro Frit Blends Coe 33
One of the things that I have learned over the last two years by spending time on Lampworketc and Wet Canvas is that many soft glass artists want to try Borosilicate glass. Some are intimidated by the learning curve. I am launching a new line of Boro Frit Blends. These tested blends offer a recipe for success for those who are just starting out in Boro. For those who have been working in boro they offer something fun and new. My recipes have been tested by myself and several other lampwork artists. I will add new blends every few months so please bookmark this site and check back frequently. I am open to suggestions and I'm always available for questions, comments and advice. I hope you love these blends as much as I do. I use only the finest Borosilicate glass commercially available. Beginning in January 2007 my blends will all be made using Northstar Glass. Frit is available in 2 ounce jars and .5 oz sample sizes. I am phasing out the 3.5 ounce jar because folks had a tough time committing to that size. Some of my blends are large grit, some small and others are mixed sizes. Frit is packaged in plastic jars and is measured by weight and not volume. I have also added to the site what I feel are the best darn frit trays on the market (made by Carlisle Machine Works) so check those out too!!!
Now available in .5 ounce sample size!!!!
