Ordering TOP
Please feel free to ask questions about the products or make special requests before ordering. I want my customers to be happy and I will try very hard to make you exactly what you want. I can also e-mail a picture of custom pieces to you before I ship them to ensure you are satisfied with the final design.

Please note that minor variations in the Bali designs featured on the web site may occur due to current availability of beads. If you would like a picture e-mailed to you of anything you order prior to shipment, please let me know via e-mail.

To avoid resizing and additional charges please measure before ordering. I realize many times my bracelets are given as gifts and it is not always possible to get measurements. Keep in mind that a 7.5 inch bracelet will fit the average wrist. If your bracelet needs to be resized, a $5.00 restringing fee will be charged for each strand plus shipping. It takes me just as long to resize your bracelet as it did to make it. Please e-mail me prior to returning a bracelet to receive return authorization. Please insure your package, as I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packages that are shipped back to me. I am now offering sterling chain extenders to any of my bracelets that have a lobster claw clasp. If you are interested in a chain extender please let me know.

Because many of my products are custom made specifically for each customer, with as much customer input as possible, I hope no one ever has to return one. If a bracelet is defective in any way I will repair it to your satisfaction (shipping charges apply). If you are just not happy with your purchase and I cannot rework the design to your satisfaction (restringing fee and shipping apply) I will refund your money but a 20% return fee may be applied to cover the cost of my design time and unrecoverable materials.

I cannot be held responsible for broken beads or wires after months of wear by the owner. My products are made of high quality semi-precious stones, Swarovski ™ crystals and sterling silver and gold-filled beads. They are strung on the highest quality 49 strand wire. I have had customers tell me: "I love my bracelet, I never take it off." I am very happy that people love my products but please do not wear this jewelry into the pool, ocean or shower. Chlorine, detergent and salt-water will damage your jewelry and weaken the wire. To avoid tarnishing, store your bracelet in a felt lined jewelry box or airtight plastic container or bag. If it does tarnish, use a polishing cloth to clean your bracelet. Do not use "jewelry dips" on your bracelets (as these dips can damage the antique finish on the Alphabet beads, Bali beads and/or crystals)! Take care not to "polish" the crystals as a polishing cloth can dull their sparkle.

Should you need an additional strand added to a name bracelet at a later date, please contact me first to make arrangements and for pricing. A $5.00 restringing fee may apply to the original strand plus the cost of the new strand and shipping. Again, I strongly recommend that you opt for insurance when returning jewelry to me for any reason.

How to Measure Your Wrist: TOP
Measure the wrist where you would place your wristwatch, and measure SNUG. Now add 1 to 1.25".

Regarding Baby & Children's Bracelets TOP
My bracelets contain small parts. Please do not leave small children unattended while wearing any type of jewelry. Please use your best judgment when giving a baby bracelet as a gift. They are intended as Heirloom Keepsakes and should be worn with adult supervision at all times.

Payment TOP
Secure credit card payments can be made using Paypal through the shopping cart feature of my web site.

I will gladly accept personal checks, however, there will be a $25 fee for all returned checks. I do not ship items that have not been paid for in advance. I will hold your order until your check arrives. Please take this into account when placing orders that need to be delivered quickly. To place an order paid for by check please choose that option in the shopping cart and drop me an email at venbead@cox.net.

Delivery TOP
Because each piece is handmade when you order it, I cannot promise you will receive your order in a few days. I will try very hard to have your order out to you within a week after ordering it. During the holiday season it may be slightly longer. If you need your order for a special occasion please take this into account when ordering and order 3 weeks in advance so you won't be disappointed.

Shipping TOP
Your merchandise will be shipped anywhere in the continental US via USPS First class mail at a cost of $3.00 for the first item and .50 for each additional item. For international rates the charge is $5.00 for the first item and $1.00 for each additional item. Please e-mail me for overnight delivery charges.

Privacy and Security TOP
I will not share your personal information with anyone. I do not sell customers home/work phone numbers, addresses or e-mail addresses. I will keep your personal information on file for record keeping purposes and advertising or promotion of The Venerable Bead. I may contact you about new products or seasonal promotions.

All online transactions are handled through Paypal with industry-standard SSL encryption.
