Wow the year is almost over and I haven’t updated this blog in ages. How pathetic is that?  Well 2006 did turn out to be a good year. Laurie Copeland’s class got cancelled but I did take Nancy Tobey’s class in October and that was wonderful. She is also a frit lover and the two of us got talking about possibly creating a Nancy Tobey frit blend.  The Frit business has proved to be a popular idea and I’m excited about expanding this year to include smaller sizes and new blends.  My party season is over and I’m breathing a sigh of relief. It’s time to play and experiment again.  I have a big frit buy coming up and I need to narrow it down.  This year I vow to keep my website as current as possible and send out e-mail updates.  Those are my resolutions along with finding more gallery/gift shop opportunities for my pendants.  Pendants have taken over the name bracelet as my main passion.  I eat sleep and breath boro pendants in every color and shape. The Dichro glass with all its metallic sparkle has really captured my interest lately so you’ll see plenty more of that.  Oh and I got a new torch. I’m probably the first person in history to go from a bigger torch to a smaller one but I’m very happy with my new Betta. I can do some of the precision stringer work I was struggling with on the bigger torch. I also got a new 10 liter oxygen concentrator with 20 PSI so my colors should be kicking some serious butt. I’ll let you be the judge….
